Held annually, the Tourism in Fernie event brings together local and area business leaders, government officials, and non-profit organizations that are involved in the local tourism sector. The event focuses on providing updates on Tourism Fernie's activities and results, plans and visions for the future, a short official annual general meeting, key industry and project speakers, and networking opportunities.

In past recent years Tourism Fernie has held a Tourism Social Event after the AGM at another local venue.  This is being postposted to coincide with National Tourism Week April 20-24th. Details on this will be announced in March.
